  The children and staff have all arrived safely at their hotel in France. The journey was pleasant, without anyone feeling travel sick! Everyone is in good spirits and enjoying their evening meal at the moment. I hope that you are finding the Twitter updates enjoyable and useful. This is something new for this year and I am certainly enjoying being kept up to date with all their latest news. I almost feel that I'm out in France with them.

• Author G.P.Taylor St.Paul`s visit

  Author G.P.Taylor visited St.Paul`s today to work with the children in Years 4&5. He entertained the children by recounting humorous anecdotes, which the children thoroughly enjoyed! The children then set about creating their own character sketches.

  Before he left, he recommended that the children read his book `Mariah Mundi-The Midas Box`- aimed at children in years 4-6. This book has also been made into a film entitled `The Adventurer : The curse of the Midas Box` (2013)
