Parent Teacher Association
What we do?
The PTA organises and puts on various events throughout the school year. This includes a Halloween / Bonfire night extravaganza, the Christmas and Summer Fairs, a ladies night, a sportsman's evening and the Family BBQ. Over the years they have been a huge success thanks to staff, pupils and families who have supported them.
Where the money goes?
The money raised by the PTA has been spent on various things for the children including: phonics reading material, projectors, computers and royal memorabilia. The children have also enjoyed cinema trips and a school sporting exchange.
What we need?
The PTA can only work with the help of volunteers; there are some very hard working enthusiastic members who staff these events. However, more HELP is desperately needed! Each year members leave when their children move on to secondary school and it is important that we continue the good work. The more volunteers we have involved, the bigger the profits we will accumulate for the children.
By getting involved with the PTA you will have the chance to meet other parents / carers and have fun whilst raising money for the schools, all of which is very rewarding. New members will always be made very welcome, no matter how little time you have to offer it is always appreciated. Being involved gives you the chance to see the work that contributes to making our schools great!
