Owens Field

Almost two years ago one of our wonderful pupils, Owen McVeigh very sadly died. Many of you will remember Owen fondly and will have heard of the great works that go on in his honour now.

We have recently been granted permission, from Liverpool City Council, to dedicate our school field to the memory of Owen. This is something we have been trying to do for a while and we are absolutely delighted. The school field will now be officially named Owen’s Field.

We are extremely honoured to have Owen’s family, a selection of his friends and the Lord Mayor visiting the school to join us in a celebration day on Monday 11th December.

Children participated in a number of Owen’s favourite activities. We servedsome of  his favourite foods in the school canteen – sausage, chips, tuna pasta and sushi!
